Teacher Grant Program

The Travis Credit Union Teacher Grant Program was created to help educators bring innovative ideas to life in the classroom. By providing funding for new supplies, technology and creative projects, this program directly benefits students and enhances learning experiences.

Building on Travis Credit Union’s long-standing commitment to education, the Teacher Grant Program complements initiatives such as Generation Wealth, which has reached over 13,000 students since 2009, and the Community Impact Scholarship Program, which has awarded nearly $700,000 to more than 400 students since 2004.

These efforts reflect our belief that strong schools create strong communities.

The impact this grant has on our students is exponential. Being able to start a big project like this and see it through would be such a great learning experience for them that would continue as they care for these animals. Thank you!

The generous grant from Travis Credit Union will allow my 5th and 6th graders to create blessing baskets for first responders and those experiencing homelessness in our community. Through this project, students will have the joy of giving and learn the importance of serving others. We are so thankful for TCU’s support. This opportunity allows my students to make a real difference while growing in compassion and faith.

Thank you Travis Credit Union for choosing me as a recipient of the Teacher Grant! Due to your generosity, we are going to use the funds to paint all our golf carts at our school, illustrate and write children's stories to share with the elementary students at Oakbrook, and paint a mural in Suisun City. We are deeply touched and grateful for TCU investing back into the community.

This grant from Travis Credit Union will allow me to create more engaging and hands-on lessons for my special education students at Dozier Libbey Medical High School. With these funds, I can provide interactive science labs and historical simulations that make learning accessible and exciting for every student. This financial support helps me bridge the gap between abstract concepts and real-world understanding, empowering my students to learn with confidence and curiosity. Thanks TCU!
